Welcome!
I am a 5th year PhD candidate in Medical Physics at the University of Chicago. I am working under the advisement of Dr. Patrick La Rivière and Dr. Rudolf Oldenbourg, and will be graduating in March 2025. I study tomography techniques for polarized light microscopy, with a particular interest in characterizing the 3D anisotropy of birefringence samples using light field microscopy. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and making ceramics.
Research interests: computational imaging, polarized light microscopy, light field imaging, birefringence, physics-informed machine learning, mathematical optimization, applied representation theory
In addition to my academic work, I recently co-founded the quantum biotechnology startup BarQu. I will be graduating in March 2025, and I am excited to explore opportunities that bridge my expertise in medical physics, imaging technologies, and entrepreneurship.
